- Pay By Group, which provides group payment checkout option for e-commerce, secured $3.4M in seed investment from SparkLabs Global Ventures, Great Oak Capital, 500 Startups, Amino Capital, Kima Ventures. Link
- Feedzai, a FinTech fraud prevention software provider, secured an undiscloed amount of funding from Citi Ventures. Link

- Alpha Payments Cloud, a white label payment solutions provider to FIs, secured an undisclosed amount of funding from Medina Capital. Link

- Mastercard is opening up to developers through the launch of a single gateway to a host of APIs covering payments, data, security and ‘new and experimental’ areas such as virtual reality. Link
- Jack Henry & Associates, a leading provider of technology solutions and payment processing services, partnered Visa on P2P payments. Link
- American Express announced the launch of Amex for Developers, a new portal providing access to company APIs and developer resources in multiple categories in finance. Link

- WorldPay, a UK-based merchant acquirer aggregator, announced the expansion of its offerings to provide end-to-end PCI compliance for merchants. Link
- Bank of America has partnered with Modo Payments, a payment network provider, to gain access to Modo’s patented COIN Operated Digital Payments Hub. Link

Vantiv (1971, Cincinnati, IPO) – An electronic payment processor, payment gateway API and PoS solutions provider. Went public in 2012.
WorldPay (1993, London, IPO) – A London based payment processing company offering gateway and PoS services. Went public in October 2015.
Total System Services (1982, Columbus (Georgia), IPO) – A merchant acquirer and white label prepaid card solutions provider. Went public in 1983.
